Toilet Paper Sensory Box- Babies

(Indie is a week shy of 12 months.)

I feel like I am constantly getting this little girl out of the bathroom. I can't really blame her. So many new and exciting things.

You should have seen her face when she saw me sitting on the floor with a box and a roll of toilet paper.

"What? You mean I can play with this?"

I was able to use a box from the post office and just a regular old roll of toilet paper.

Feeling how soft. It was cute to see her put it up to her face all by herself.

Big brother joining in the fun.

I sat with them for most of the time. I'd obviously recommend it with the younger ones.  Indie has been slowly moving past the "put everything in your mouth" stage but still needs a watchful eye.

Everyone helped put all the pieces that escaped back in the box and on the shelf when we were finished.

Start to finish was about 30 minutes of play- not too shabby for $0.50 worth of toilet paper.

  1. Oh babies..don't they just love tissues in any form? My daughter's almost 3 and I still have to keep saving my kitchen rolls and kleenex boxes from her! BTW, I downloaded your penguin 3-part cards a few days ago, thanks for the freebie!

    1. that's by far one of my favorite pictures! I love that she did it all on her own without any sort of "suggestion" from me. Thanks for featuring Mixing Playdough on your facebook page!
